BOISE, idaho (CBS2) — According to The Idaho Statesman, a fight broke out at the Idaho maximum security prison.
It happened just before 2 p.m. on December 23rd, 2023, when the fight broke out in the recreation yard inside a day room. The brawl involved more than thirty inmates and left one injured. The prisoner that was harmed did return to the prison several hours later with non-life-threatening injuries.
No staff members were injured.
